‘Government Employees Housing Welfare Society’ (GEHWS) is a society initiated as a Housing Welfare Measure primarily for Government Employees and Defense Personals and extends its services to GENERAL PUBLIC to fulfill its mission of providing house to ALL INDIANS till 2024 It’s a all India Housing Society operating under "Government Employee Welfare Organization" (GEWO) Reg No: GHZ3978/01062018 or GEWO that has been established to promote, control and co-ordinate different schemes relating to health, finance & housing as welfare measure. After serving its members for more than 10 years the Governing Council of GEWO resolved to introduce GEHWS a housing society to exclusively work toward housing and provide houses to Indians through different schemes.

GEWO has the mandate to:

Undertake social welfare schemes relating to Health, Finance and Housing as a welfare measure priorities are given to Government Employees, both serving and retired under its housing initiative a society with the name Govt. Empl. Housing Welfare Society (or GEHWS) is formed inter-alia promoting, construction of houses and providing all possible help and required inputs to achieve the objective to provide home to its members.

Do all such things as are incidental, or conducive, to the attainment of any or all of the above objects.

Extend its welfare schemes to public at large

The goal of the organization is to provide welfare service to all, relating to Health, Finance and Housing.

Area wise Demand of Dwelling is generated through GEHWS society

Government Employees Housing Welfare society has Four Levels of control in the organization:

• General Body (Trustees)

• Adviser(s) (Government Employee)

• Chief Executive Officer (CEO) / Project In charge

• Executive Committee (Professional)

The General Body is a constitutional authority which lays down general policy guidelines and makes or amends Rules and Regulations of the society. Our advisors are selected among the respondents at a location on volunteer basis Being from different government sectors they understand the exact requirement and manages and administers the affairs of the project at a location accordingly, approve projects/schemes & requirements of staff and lays down policy with General Body. Executive Committee looks after the day to day affairs of the organization. In some cases few powers of these bodies have been delegated to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO)/Project In charge.
